Happiness is what is behind our drives. If we have money we will naturally try to create happiness with money. If we don't have much money it is the same thing. Studies show that people with a bit more than a moderate income tend to be the happiest. Those with major incomes have a hard time being happy because their brains are too deeply connected with money. Money does create power which many people like, but it does very little to bring genuine happiness: A sense of sincerity, authenticity, and true love. A feeling of joyful passion filled with integrity. A sense of simplicity, creativity and radical self acceptance.
