Detris

The number one cause of this "Detris" is persistent negative thoughts over a long period of time that have become so normal to the person that they don't even recognize that they are hitting the same negative topic over and over again.   It manifests in reality in different ways.   Mainly it effects speech the most.   Anyone who is covered in "Detris" should tape record themselves through the days and play the tapes back.   What will be found is a conversation style that is often more disconnecting with others than connecting.   Even sentences can get mangled and lose clarity, precision and truthfulness.   In putting our attention on communication that is not person to person such as TV to person or even book to person the "Detris" can begin to accumulate.   In it accumulating the person can become full of it and this prevents much of the real world from entering and going out of us.   In other words we become trapped so to speak in this "Detris"   This very mild insanity which is so common is actually very normal in today's world.   It is that we underestimate the power of negative thoughts.   We may see a lizard and say how can this lizard harm me if it is so small?   Like a sick TV show or movie it somehow gives us a smug feeling that we perhaps can dodge it while being exposed to it.   Later to our horror we find that it is not in our power to dodge it, that it later would manifest into a dragon of danger in some way.   Every day we then must make our day.   That to me is the only choice we have.   Anytime a person begins to believe otherwise, who thinks they can slack through a week or a month or more will even if done with angel like feeling will build up a giant "Detris"   "Detris" is different than karma in that Detris is to a large extent created by behaving that mistakes can be made with little consequence since there must be a big difference between making a mistake than being truly guilty of something.   We all know when there is guilt or most of us do, but we usually do not count the smaller stuff that goes on and that my friends slowly but surely can be even more deadly.
