I believe people are incredibly inteligent.
So why do we ever call anyone stupid?
And mean that for real?
I think that for some stupidity is celebrated like a form of perversion or a result of perversions.
Some think there is a connection between being hip and cool and being stupid.
Or that being stupid removes guilt from harmful or criminal actions.
Maybe the idea if you are stupid people won't hold you accountable for your actions and you can mess up all you want and be easilly forgiven.
There is also the idea that powerful people have arrogance and muscle mass and not any real signs of intelligence.
Another possible view is through an undistorted lens interesting theory is born.
Then you can wipe out history because of the pain that memory might cause.
The hedonism that alchohol induses must not be from a culture that celebrates it's inherent incredible inteligence.
This also comes in useful for brain washing onto others who join in with the stupidity ideal.
