They may be a void that takes up some of our universe, the big ones are detectable. What is interesting that there other worldly aspect could add to the other worldly experiences we have. That maybe 1-5% of our visual experience is distorted or warped perhaps in space time and some elements may enhance this or weaken in it. Perhaps water and special geometry can effect this.
