Dear physicists,

I wonder if black holes being so compelling are a distraction from Super Novas.  I saw one actually happen.  Though it was not a big spot in the sky I could feel the violent force very intensely.  What does this do to time and space? What is going on before it actually explodes?  What kind of energy is happening?  Does each explosion effect the universe?  Is there something unknowable?  I THINK UNKNOWABLE THINGS ARE IMPORTANT.

A closer look at beatlejuice maybe?
