For me technique can not be learned in poetry. As a poet I might know about ten things that help write a good poem. The thing is having ten things in the mind on a conscious level is impossible. So it takes discipline as well as practice. forget about imitating me. You can't.
The rule I would share is the feeling of imitating is almost a cause of bad writing.
