An idea I am feeling must be true lately is,

Birds are major players in human life.  We take them for granted with pigeons, sea gulls, blue jays, crows, sparrows and that is so, except with bird watchers which I am.  Birds offer a way of view ourselves from the position of a flying animal, but also a different sort of animal.  The crow given bad names is one of the few birds that breaks rules and its own rules even.  They are not the only bird like that.  Yet as humans we even expect birds to conform and so they often get that message and "behave" seriousely responding to prejudice and bigotry!  I can just say that from years of watching them and how we can cause terror in these animals.  Imagine how zoo animals might feel.
