She demanded
last she was in another garden
Alice waded through flower
beds
She
searched for food
And discovered a magic mushroom

THE CATERPILLAR WAS
WAITING
THEREITS ARMS WERE FOLDED ABOUT ITSELF
SHE COULD NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT AND
GOT SMOKE IN HER EYES INSTEADTHEN THE CATERPILLAR RAISED ITSELF HIGHIT
LOOKED AT HER WITH CRUEL EYESSPITTING AS IS SPOKEIT SAIDYOU'LL GET USED
TO
BEING SMALLER

Alice saw something curious
June Trees dance by the beach
It
is
a religious time for leaves

Making scribbles in the air
Alice was not tooimpressed
As she batted her eyelashes
If only trees could sing or talkWas
a
pleasant thought
As then her days were gentler
Plus she had a pair of
binoculars.
Then it slid into the grass
And Alice did not feel herself
She
wasn't sure about that either
But she would do
And do as she was toldEven
though she was just an Alice
Then she ran into a house of cards
A slight
wind
caused it to collapse
Alice remembered Mary Anne
Her childhood dreams
And
happy imaginary days
Each year engaged in play
Where there were no more
tears
And nothing in her way.
Oh Cat what is that smile about
Being funny
now
No doubt
But you will not find my mouse
He is on vacationCat grew
larger
Or
you might eat me instead
As I am only three feet tall
But I taste
completely
horribleUnless you want cat nipI have loads of that
Right over there
Now
be
nice Cat!
Everything was fading into nothingness
Alice had wet eyes and
the
man
The tall thin man was a bueish blur
But she could make out his
enormous
mouthHis perfect teeth
His long narrow nose
And blackened eyes
This was no
Mad
PersonHe was very comvincing
All became white and alive
Finally she fell
onto
something soft
Alice is now back in her roomScared
But the television
wobbled
Or seemed to
And a message was breaking through
And the TV could be
heardInside was a woman with cat eyes
There was nothing else
The
television
commanded her attention
Absolutely.
For no reason why Alice smiled as if
it
were her unbirthday
And that she was now older and wiser
And had some new
mascara
Her body would be perfection
And she would dance like a
panther
Like a
panther,
So he played to her all night long
As the gold melted into lava
It
always turns out this way
Strange things are meant to
She wondered...Alice

was not so comfortable
Though she was home somewhere
Seated in her leather

love seatAnd no prince
charming here
Oh Alice knows to make some
cookies
There was the sound of dripping

And Alice looked aroundAnd gobbled
some dark chocolate down
I think this is happiness
So much better than
less
wicked places
Oh never again
Mouse was right!

Why do I not listen to
bad advise
I
seldom listen
Why do I keep making more cookies??
As if the caterpillar
was
here somewhere
Now a devious little worm
With a storm of words ready to be?

She said
Telling how she was stuck in her house
And there is nowhere to
go
Except
to accept a hooka
Then to float around the room
Like a rag doll
Oh no Oh
no?
no.

She
was surrounded by pink gas
Losing herself in the smell
So nicely sweet
Oh
Alice are you
Said the worm
Are you an Alice?
Alice was almost lost
Then
said:
Yes!I am indeed!
The worm had crawled through a tiny door
marked
"Worm Hole"
Stranger and stranger
Now where would she retire
It was snowing in
the
garden

But the roses were blooming
Alice then felt lonely
And she was
loving
and lovelyThe door marked
"Unknown" was in the far end of the room
In a
crevice!
